Children's ministry

At Iglesia Maranatha, kids get a fun, caring, and Christ-centered place to learn about God's Word. We help children come to know God, grow in good character, and have a great time doing it.

Children's ministry

Every Sunday during our 10:00 a.m. service, children gather for age-appropriate teaching and worship while parents settle into the main service. Our heart is simple: we want every child to feel welcome, safe, and loved the moment they walk in.

We teach the Bible in a way kids can understand and carry with them all week. Lessons come alive through stories, songs, hands-on activities, and lots of encouragement, so the truth of Scripture sticks long after the lesson ends.

What a Sunday looks like

Kids start with worship and a Bible lesson, then move into activities and small-group time where they can ask questions, make friends, and pray together. We keep it lively and personal, because faith grows best in a place where children feel known.

What we teach

  • Know GodChildren learn who God is and how much He loves them, building a real and lasting relationship with Jesus.
  • Good characterWe help kids put God's Word into practice through kindness, honesty, and obedience that show up in everyday life.
  • Fun that points to faithGames, songs, and creative activities make Sundays something kids look forward to, with every moment pointing back to God.

The curriculum we use

Our teaching is rooted in trusted Assemblies of God children's resources. We use the Fire Bible for Kids, which presents God's Word with clear, age-appropriate notes, and TruFire, a Spirit-empowered curriculum designed to help kids encounter Jesus and grow as His followers. Together they give our children a solid, Bible-centered foundation.

Safe and welcoming

Your child's safety matters to us. Our children's areas are supervised by caring, trusted volunteers, and we work to make every kid feel they belong. Whether your family is visiting for the first time or has been with us for years, your children are always welcome here.

New to Maranatha? Come a few minutes early on Sunday so we can greet your family, show you where to go, and get your kids settled in. We'd love to meet you.

There's a place for you this Sunday.
