We keep this simple. Iglesia Maranatha is a local church, not a marketing company. We only collect the little bit of information you choose to give us, we use it to stay in touch and to pray with you, and we never sell it.

What we collect
We only collect what you hand us on purpose. There is no hidden tracking and no profile being built on you.
In practice, that means:
- Newsletter sign-upIf you join our email list from the footer, we keep your email address so we can send service updates and event news a few times a month.
- Contact formWhen you send us a message, we receive your name, your email address, and whatever you write so we can reply to you.
- Prayer requestsWhen you share a prayer request, we receive what you send and any contact details you include so our pastors and prayer team can pray with you and follow up if you ask us to.
- Basic website dataLike most websites, our host may log standard technical information such as your browser type and general location to keep the site running and secure. We do not use this to identify you.
How we use it
We use your information for one reason: to care for you and keep you connected to the life of the church.
- To respond to youWe reply to questions, messages, and prayer requests that come through the website.
- To send updatesIf you joined the newsletter, we send service times, event reminders, and church news. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
- To pray with youPrayer requests go to our pastors and prayer team. We treat them with care and keep sensitive requests private.
What we never do
- We never sell your informationYour email address and your prayer requests are not for sale and never will be.
- We never rent or trade your contactsWe do not hand your details to advertisers or outside lists.
- We only share when you ask or the law requiresThe only people who see your information are the church staff and volunteers who need it to help you, plus the trusted services we use to run the website and send email.
Services we rely on
To keep this website online, send our newsletter, and accept giving, we use a few trusted outside services. They handle your information only to provide those services to us, and they are not allowed to use it for their own marketing. If you give online, your payment is processed securely by our giving provider and we never see or store your full card or bank details.
Children
This website is meant for adults and families to learn about the church. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children online. If a child has sent us information through the site, please contact us and we will remove it.
Updating or removing your information
You are always in control of your own information. You can ask us to see it, correct it, or delete it at any time, and you can unsubscribe from our emails whenever you like.
To make a request, email pastor@maranathahutto.com or call (512) 868-0049. We will take care of it as soon as we reasonably can.
Changes to this policy
If we update how we handle information, we will post the new version here and change the date at the top. Questions are always welcome, in person on a Sunday or anytime by phone or email.
